Warranty Terms & Conditions / Returns

 What this warranty covers: COMTECHLOGIC warrants your product against all defects in materials and workmanship.

For how long: (New Products) One (1) year from the date of the original purchase.*

*Some products have longer warranty lengths.  Please check your owner’s manual for the warranty term.

What we will do: COMTECHLOGIC, at our discretion, will either repair or replace your product free of charge.

Certain products that are “End of Life” or low stock items cannot be guaranteed of replacement availability.

What we will not do: COMTECHLOGIC will not pay shipping charges that you incur for sending your product to us.

What you must do to maintain this warranty: Show original proof of purchase from COMTECHLOGIC or a COMTECHLOGIC Authorized dealer.

Warranty Exclusions: Warranty does not apply to your product under any of the following conditions:

1. The serial number has been removed or modified.
2. Your product has been subjected to misuse, damage, negligence, alternations, unauthorised repairs water damage, physical abuse, improper installation, natural disasters such flooding, sinking and lightning.
3. Your product has been modified in any way.
4. Your receipt or proof-of-purchase is from a non-authorised dealer or internet auction site including Ebay, Amazon, or other non-authorised resellers. Please Note: only purchases made from our official COMTECHLOGIC sales agents designated by the COMTECHLOGIC are covered under this warranty

To obtain service: Please contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation number.

Returns Under 30 Days

For Defective items in the first 30 days of delivery, please use the contact us feature in website to request a repair or replacement of that item.

Warranty Under  90 Days

Please contact us through website with your transaction details so that we can associate your order with your account. PLEASE NOTE: After the initial 30 return windows closes you are only eligible for Warranty repair or replacement.

Warranty Claims Over 90 Days

Please Contact us through website with the following information: Date of original purchase, Full Name on order, and Delivery Address.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTY: EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN, YOU ARE ACQUIRING THE PRODUCT "AS IS" AND "WHERE IS", WITHOUT REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY. COMTECHLOGIC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE CONCERNING THE MERCHANTABILITY AND SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. COMTECHLOGIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR MOUNTING OF THE PRODUCT.

The above limitations or exclusions shall be limited to the extent they violate the laws of any particular territory. COMTECHLOGIC is not responsible for products lost in shipment between the owner and our service center.

Warranty Information

Each product we manufacture is covered by  factory warranty. While each product may have unique components and policy, the general guideline below will apply to most COMTECHLOGIC products.

All NEW COMTECHLOGIC Communication Electronics models purchased factory-direct or from our Authorised Resellers will come with a full one-year warranty from the date of the original retail purchase (see policy statement above for full warranty details and exclusions).

All OPEN BOX items will have the same warranty and time frame as new COMTECHLOGIC items.

New Standard accessories packaged with each model will have a one-year factory warranty.

Accessory items have a six (6) month factory warranty.

All the products offered in our stores are authentic products backed by a full COMTECHLOGIC Certified manufacturer warranty.

Warranty Lengths for Refurbished Products:

Refurbished VHF/UHF/HF Radios: 6 Months (180 Days)
Refurbished Radar Equipments: 6 Months (180 Days)
Refurbished CB/HAM/Scanners: 1 Year (380 Days)
Refurbished Marine Radios: 1 Year (380 Days)
Refurbished AIS / Buys: 6 Months (180 Days)
Refurbished Repeaters/Base stations : 6 Months (180 Days)

Other legal rights: This Warranty gives you specific rights. You may have other legal rights, which may vary, from territory to territory.
